Permalinker - Save Images to Cloud with Permanent Links
Permalinker is a Chrome add-on developed by ahmetalpbalkan that allows users to save images to their cloud storage accounts with permanent links. This add-on is specifically designed for users who are comfortable with server deployment and have accounts with cloud hosting services like Amazon or Azure.
To use Permalinker, simply right-click on an image and select "Permalink to cloud!" The add-on will generate a permanent link for the image and copy it to your clipboard. This link can then be shared with friends or used for future reference.
However, it's important to note that installing the backend server for Permalinker requires technical knowledge and the ability to start a web application on a server. The server code and installation instructions can be found on the developer's GitHub page.
Once the server is successfully deployed, enter the deployed application's URL to the Settings of the add-on, and hit "Save and Close." From that point on, any link, image, or URL written as text can be uploaded to your cloud storage account with just one click.
Please note that Permalinker is intended for advanced users and may not be suitable for the average Joe. The source code for this Chrome add-on can be found on the developer's GitHub page, and pull requests are welcome.
